New Version of the Chopin Dumka

"Did you know that Chopin wrote a "Dumka?" Neither did I. It's one of his songs. Well, Marjan Kiepura, a very interesting musical personality whose pianism I have enjoyed for quite some years, realized that all the notes of the vocal part are also found in the piano part, so has recorded this charming piece as a piano solo. Kiepura, the son of tenor Jan Kiepura and the soprano, Marta Eggerth, has long been interested in both his Polish and Hungarian backgrounds, and has other YouTube recordings of works by Chopin and Bartok which are well worth hearing."
